The range of disciplines is equally diverse, including design, visual communication, digital technologies, photography, architecture, fashion, video, music and journalism.
The story has started back in 2009 when Lucie Cermakova, Dita Lamacova and Lukas Cetera has founded ARTYKEL with the aim to create an alternative platform to established advertising agencies and production studios. The vision was to integrate freshly graduated artists into a creative collective and offer their fresh distinctive approach and new imagery for commercial assignments, visual communication and art projects.
Since then ARTYKEL has shaped into the centre for further education and vocational training in creative industries and new technologies.
Our team consists of professionals engaged in Creative Industries and Vocational Education Training. Both, external and internal team members have background in arts and creative industries and we are still active in creative business with mentoring experience. This guarantees that we are able to offer very updated content of training with emphasis on future trends.
Our mission is to deliver an updated skillset in new technologies, facilitate the creative mindset of young people and thus prepare them for the future.
We are located in the Art District of Prague, in the building where future is present; We are proud members of Paralelní Polis community- a state-free think tank, fab-lab and hacker space focused on the topics of decentralization, digital privacy and new technologies.
Beside Institute of Cryptoanarchy, we have Bitcoin Coffee where you will experience your first state-free transaction, MakersLab for learning about 3D-printing and printing your own designs, and also unique coworking space Paper Hub.
